I conduct comprehensive reviews of investigative files to evaluate the factual record, examine investigative methodology, identify inconsistencies or unresolved issues, and assess whether available evidence has been fully documented and considered. Each review is approached objectively and may include reports, photographs, video, interviews, timelines, forensic findings, and other relevant materials to provide counsel with a clear, independent assessment of the investigation.
CONDUCTED ENERGY WEAPON ANALYSIS
Conducted energy weapon incidents may involve complex technical data that must be evaluated within the context of the complete evidentiary record. I conduct detailed analysis of available device data, event logs, activation records, deployment information, and related documentation to develop a clear understanding of weapon use and event chronology. When appropriate, technical data is correlated with body-worn camera footage, incident reports, witness accounts, medical documentation, and other available evidence to identify consistencies, discrepancies, and issues requiring further examination.

Body-worn camera footage can provide important evidence, but meaningful review requires more than simply watching a recording. I conduct detailed, systematic review of available footage to examine event chronology, officer and witness actions, statements, positioning, camera perspective, and other observable details relevant to the matter under review. When appropriate, footage is correlated with incident reports, dispatch records, photographs, witness accounts, use-of-force documentation, and other available evidence to identify consistencies, discrepancies, and issues requiring further examination.
INVESTIGATIVE METHODOLOGY REVIEW
The reliability of an investigation depends not only on the information collected, but on how investigative decisions were made and whether reasonable avenues of inquiry were pursued.
